No progress after the "Version Checking" window is shown.

This problem occurs when the update server is temporarily inactive, when your client connects to an improper host or when the installation information is improper. First try the game after an amount of time.

Still having problems?

Fully install the game, and erase all registry information of Combat Arms.
Then reinstall with the latest install client.
